Da Coconut Cafe’s is frying up two types of malasadas everyday (except Monday when they are closed) in Temecula.
The malasada is a yeast donut without the hole. The dough is really laded with eggs and also uses lots of milk, fresh and evaporated. The slightly crisp exterior is coated in sugar, and the haupia malasadas are filled with a rich and delightful coconut filling.
If your from the Islands and miss this wonderful treat, or your curious to try a real Hawaiian Classic, go to Da Coconut Cafe, located at 31333 Temecula Pkwy in Temecula.
Cathryn will have a full restaurant review coming shortly. The Da Coconut Cafe serves up some of the best Poke and Hawaiian dishes in the area.
