Temecula: Hazmat Responds as Two people Hospitalized at Shogun Restaurant

Two people were taken to local hospitals on Friday night with minor injuries. The victims became ill while dining at a popular Temecula restaurant, Shogun.

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to reports of an ill person in a restaurant at the 41000 block of Margarita Road in Temecula at 8:39 pm. Friday evening. 

The first arriving engine company reported an unknown substance possibly causing victims to feel ill and requested the assistance of the Riverside County Fire Department Hazardous Materials Team.

Paramedics evaluated and transported two victims to area hospitals by ground ambulance with minor injuries. The cause was undetermined and the incident was turned over to Riverside County Environmental Health.
