This exhibit reveals how these two women scientists endured incredible challenges during an era when females were not welcome in the field of scientific discovery. Despite a lack of financial support, unsophisticated academic facilities, and little recognition of their endeavors, these leaders persevered and triumphed.

A special event, History Meets Science, will be held in conjunction with this exhibit on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Temecula Valley Museum. Inspired by two remarkable female scientists, Marie Curie and Lise Meitner, the event will feature a fun presentation and exciting experiments.

The Temecula Library is located at 28314 Mercedes Street. For more information call: 951-694-6450
