The Arts: Free Fall Concert by the Temecula Valley Youth Symphony on Sunday, October 13

The City of Temecula’s Free Symphony Series presents the annual Fall Concert performed by the Temecula Valley Youth Symphony on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Temecula Amphitheater at the Community Recreation Center at 30875 Rancho Vista Roadin Temecula.

This Fall Concert is full of variety including October favorites, such as A Rockin’ Halloween; Highlights from Wicked, The Addams Family, Harry Potter; and the Masterpiece Theater theme music Fanfare Rondeau. Other pieces include: In the Hall of the Mountain King; Crown Imperial March; and Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah.

The concert will feature music performed by three orchestras within the Youth Symphony program:

Temecula Valley Youth Symphony – conducted by Dr. Zun-Hin Woo

Junior Youth Symphony – conducted by Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann

Prelude Beginning Strings – directed by Gina Wingfield and assisted by Putnam Cook

Alana Joos, Managing and Artistic Director for the Temecula Valley Symphony says, “Many of our previous students have gone forward with careers in music or have pursued studies in the sciences, research, engineering, math, education, and business. We believe that the training they receive in our organization will help them become successful adults whose lives have been enriched by music.”
