USA Volleyball: U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team Plays Team Canada at Mesa High School Saturday June 15

The U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team comes to Murrieta Mesa High School on Saturday, June 15th. The Americans will play Team Canada in an exhibition match. Doors open at 6pm and the game begins at 7pm.

Come out and support the Rams and watch a world class sporting event. These two teams may end up facing each other in the 2020 Olympics.

U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly and his staff have chosen a balance of veteran players to compete alongside younger athletes for the match.

The Americans are currently 5-1 and are in second place in the 16-team Volleyball Nations League.

The team consists of setters Carli Lloyd, Jordyn Poulter, Liberos Megan Courtney, Mary Lake, middles Tori Dixon, Lauren Gibbemeyer, Chiaka Ogbogu, and Dana Rettke. The team’s outsides are Mikaela Foecke, Madi Kingdon Rishel, Jordan Larson, Kelsey Robinson and opposites are Annie Drews and Jordan Thompson.

General admission to the match is $10. Seniors 60 and over, Military and Youth 10 and under tickets are $7.
