On November 25, 2016, Wildomar Police responded to the report of a vehicle that had collided with a concrete wall on Monte Vista Drive and Bundy Canyon Road, Wildomar. Upon arrival, officers located a 1999 Oldsmobile sedan with major front end damage that had collided with a concrete wall adjacent to the flood control channel.
The driver of the vehicle, a male resident of Wildomar, was out of the vehicle complaining of minor injuries. The passenger of the vehicle, a male resident of Wildomar, was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by Riverside County Fire.
Both the driver and passenger were transported to a local hospital for their injuries. The passenger of the vehicle later died at the hospital.
The Wildomar Police Department are currently investigating the circumstances and cause of the collision.
