Wildomar: Suspect Arrested For March 31st Murder of a Temecula Woman


On Monday, April 2, 2018, Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit arrested Jeffrey Kruger, a 48-year-old resident of Hemet.

Mr. Kruger was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in the city of Murrieta and booked for murder. The victim has been identified as Deborah Warner, a 47-year-old resident of Temecula.

The incident occurred on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at about 3:42 am. Deputies were dispatched to an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” call in the area of Winchester Road and Pourroy Road, in the unincorporated area of Winchester.

Deputies arrived and located Warner lying dead on the roadway and Kruger with significant injuries in the roadway laying nearby. Kruger was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
